All our drawers are machine dovetailed in front and back and feature "flush inset"
construction. Drawer sides are close grained hardwood, birch or maple. Continuous
sliding dovetail hardwood drawer guides operate smoothly and act as a tilt to prevent
sagging or other errant movement. This is traditional, quality construction built for 
years of trouble free service.

Cambridge, Canterbury and Verdana casework incorporates end panels framed with 8/4"
solid cherry leg/corner posts. The framed end panels are cherry veneer on a hardwood
core, mortised and securely fastened to the leg frame. We choose this method because
it provides exceptional stability and strength resulting in a very strong and durable and
good looking piece of furniture. Solid dust panels are featured in Cambridge and 
Canterbury cases.
